Leaders Advised Members on Strategies for Managing Growth, Business Planning, Program and Organizational Change Management and Outsourcing
Birmingham, AL, FEBRUARY 15, 2002 - HarrisonGray, a consulting firm headquartered in Atlanta, has announced its formation.
HarrisonGray management consulting was the featured presenter at the GulfSouth Council of the Institute of Management Accountants’ regional Strategic Leadership Seminar. The event took place today in Birmingham, Alabama.

This professional development seminar lead by HarrisonGray covered the following topics:
- Managing Growth, Innovation & Technology - Helping members understand how to develop innovative product, service and operational strategies by leveraging existing, often latent, organizational assets, in addition to managing new technologies.
- Business Planning & Synchronization - Focusing on management’s strategic analysis, company’s business drivers and long-term business strategy.
- Program and Project Management - Helping understand the value of a well planned, organized and operated project. Discussed the tools and approach needed to plan time and resources, control the scope of a project, resolve issues, manage project contingencies, drive teams toward meeting deadlines and successfully communicating project progress and benefits.
- Organization and Change Management - Covered effectively managing the changing organizational structure and culture. Covered some of the strategies for addressing important organizational issues such as performance management, change assessment and planning, and cultural transformation.
- Outsourcing: When is it an Option? - Provided an overview of some of the strategies for outsourcing non-core business activities, including information technology initiatives and business process outsourcing.
